The Port of Phuket is located on the western seaboard of Thailand at 07 49’ N 98 24’. 30” E and enjoys an equatorial climate. The port is in Ao Makham Bay at the south-eastern corner of the island.

Phuket is an island in name only, being joined by two bridges to Phang Nga Province on the mainland.
